FinXL is seeking a bubbly, friendly, and confident Associate Project Manager to join our consulting team. This role is deployed with a leading banking client on a key transformation engagement.
Priority Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Residency: You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Location: You must be currently living in NSW.
In-Office Presence: You must be able to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
The Candidate
We are looking for individuals eager to kickstart their career in project management. While this is an entry-level role, some experience in project management—either through professional work or academic studies—is a significant plus. Due to the high volume of applications, you will need to "sell yourself" to the interviewer; having a polished elevator pitch regarding your experience and what you specifically bring to the team will be a major benefit.
Responsibilities
Support the achievement of project objectives by completing assigned tasks.
Assist in defining project scope to ensure outcomes and benefits are aligned.
Monitor and report on project financials, risks, issues, and milestones.
Support the engagement of key business and technology stakeholders.
Help ensure adherence to enterprise methodologies and project frameworks.
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and funding approval submissions.
Support day-to-day contact and performance reporting for project vendors.
Key Skills & Experience
A bubbly, friendly, and confident personality.
Entry-level project experience or exposure within a project environment.
Basic understanding of project management concepts and methodologies.
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work towards shared goals.
Effective communication skills with an open and engaging manner.
Ability to analyze problems and complete activities under direction.
Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
